Our approach
We put a figure on your investment decisions and, if you wish, oversee their delivery. We start from your business, not from a catalogue of solutions. We do not replace your finance director; we inform their work.

The method in brief
It leads to a costed roadmap, built from your baseline economic performance. You then decide whether we support you through implementation. The approach is called Exelvys Value Engineering and has five steps:
- Economic Baseline: your baseline economic performance.
- Value Discovery: the levers of growth, margin and productivity.
- Value Quantification: gains, costs, risks and investments, quantified.
- Capital Prioritization: initiatives ranked by return and feasibility.
- Value Realization: if you ask for it, monitoring of implementation and of the results actually achieved.
Where we support implementation, one rule applies: no workstream moves to the next stage without a measured result.

Our services

Economic Performance and AI Opportunity Diagnostic
A roadmap prioritised by return on investment, drawn from an analysis of your profit and loss account, your sources of value and the gains they represent. It is a complete engagement in itself. Support with implementation is available if you ask for it.

Transformation
Adjustments to the organisation or a more fundamental transformation, informed by interviews with people in key roles and a comparison with similar businesses that perform better. Then, if you wish, support with implementation.

Digital Transformation
Costed options before you keep, renegotiate or replace a system, based on the full cost of your software and supplier dependencies and the role of each tool.

Interim Management
For critical situations and complex transformations, Peter Guillon takes on the executive role himself.

Reputation and Strategic Risk
A map of strategic risks, proposed adjustments and tailored monitoring to support the new direction. It rests on an audit of how the business and its leaders appear in the press, on social media, on review platforms and in specialist sources.
And, for a specific decision: One-to-One Counsel for Chief Executives.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a diagnostic take?
Two to three weeks when the data is ready, four to six when it has to be gathered. You will have a clear estimate of the timescale before any commitment and, within the first few days, a view of what one point of margin is worth in your business. The first conversation establishes the scope, the available sources and the timetable.
Is it possible to commission the roadmap alone?
Yes. The diagnostic delivers a costed, prioritised roadmap that is complete in itself. Some chief executives prefer to see clearly what is possible first. Support with implementation is offered afterwards, and only if you ask for it.
What does an engagement cost?
Fees are agreed at the outset of each engagement. Scope and data differ from one business to another, so each engagement is assessed individually. The first conversation carries no obligation: its purpose is to understand your situation and estimate the work involved. We always set the expected gain against the cost of implementation, so a proposal should be judged on its return on investment rather than on its amount alone.
What data do you need?
Your own management data: profit and loss account, sales, purchasing, stock, payments, depending on the levers under review. Nothing is extrapolated from market ratios. A controlled copy of the sources is sufficient, and the scope is agreed with you before any access. The less a measurement rests on your actual figures, the more clearly we present it as a cautious estimate.
What happens to our data?
Your data remains yours. We work on a controlled copy, solely for the duration of the engagement and the agreed purpose. We do not sell it, add it to any catalogue or use it on behalf of a third party. The confidentiality framework is in place from the first day, before any access to your systems.
Do you develop software tools?
Where it is useful, yes. We start from your business. If a sound solution already exists on the market, we help you select and integrate it rather than rebuild it. If nothing suitable exists, or if your revised processes require it, we design a bespoke tool. The choice of suppliers always remains yours.
How do you differ from an AI consultancy?
An AI consultancy starts from the technology. We start from your profit and loss account. Artificial intelligence is one of our levers for creating value, not our product. We quantify each gain on your data and, where we support implementation, no workstream moves to the next stage without a measured result.
What are your performance levers worth, and where should you begin?
We reply in writing within 48 working hours.
